2024年4月25日，菲律宾高教委（CHED）主席Dr. J. Prospero “Popoy” E. De Vera III及其团队前去访问中部菲律宾大学。
In a testament to the pursuit of innovation and quality education, the Chairman of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Dr. J. Prospero “Popoy” E. De Vera III, along with his team, embarked on a visit to Central Philippine University (CPU) last April 25, 2024.
首先，菲律宾高教委团队对中部菲律宾大学校长Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy进行了礼节性拜访。在中部菲律宾大学行政人员和董事会成员的陪同下，访问团就教育发展和合作机会进行深度探讨。
The visit commenced with a formal courtesy call to CPU President, Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy, at the Office of the President. Accompanied by CPU Administrators and the Board of Trustees, the delegation engaged in fruitful discussions on educational advancements and collaborative opportunities.

Following the courtesy call, the delegation proceeded to explore the University Research Center for Product Development, specifically the Philippine Native Chicken Research Station housed within the CPU College of Agriculture, Resources, and Environmental Sciences (CARES). This initiative underscores CPU’s dedication to agricultural research and sustainable practices.
访问团参观菲律宾包装工程与技术中心（PC-PET）
The delegation visited the Philippine Center for Packaging Engineering and Technology (PC-PET).
访问团继续参观了菲律宾包装工程与技术中心（PC-PET），参与包装工程理学士课程的讲座。值得注意的是，该专业隶属于中部菲律宾大学的工程学院，是菲律宾第一个也是唯一一个开创该专业的大学，这体现了中部菲律宾大学在学术领域上的开拓精神。
Continuing their tour, the delegation visited the Philippine Center for Packaging Engineering and Technology (PC-PET), where they were introduced to the Bachelor of Science in Packaging Engineering program. Remarkably, this program, offered under the CPU College of Engineering, stands as the first and only of its kind in the Philippines, reflecting CPU’s pioneering spirit in academic offerings.
为进一步彰显中部菲律宾大学追求卓越的精神，访问团继续参观了中部菲律宾大学的护理学院和最先进的虚拟仿真实验室，该学院为菲律宾第一所护理学院，展示了中部菲律宾大学对护理学院教育和技术上的投入。
Further highlighting CPU’s commitment to excellence, the delegation toured the CPU College of Nursing, renowned as the first Nursing School in the Philippines. They were given an exclusive look into the State-of-the-Art Virtual Simulation Laboratories, showcasing CPU’s investment in cutting-edge technology to enhance nursing education.
最后，校方对菲律宾高教委的这次访问表示感谢，并强调了此次活动的重要意义，即重申了中部菲律宾大学致力于提供优质教育和营造有利于学习的环境。
Expressing gratitude for the visit amidst challenging weather conditions, the university administration emphasized the significance of the event in reaffirming CPU’s dedication to providing quality education and fostering an environment conducive to learning.
